Former “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert returned to sing Queen classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” with contestant Dimitrius Graham during the Season 17 finale.
Graham performed with Lambert, who was his mentor, after he was eliminated.
Laine Hardy won the competition by beating Alejandro Aranda in the final.
Lambert played one more song on Sunday night, his just released single, “New Eyes.”
Lambert was beaten in the final of “American Idol” in 2009 by Kris Allen.
Both of them sang “We Are the Champions” alongside Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor in that show.
Meanwhile, Queen + Adam Lambert are set to embark on a North American tour on July 10 in Vancouver.
“American Idol” has been picked up for another season at ABC, which is set to air in 2020.
