Adele ‘sounds better than ever’ on comeback music says OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder

Adele fans have been anticipating her comeback for whatfeels like forever, but the singer ‘sounds better than ever’ according toOneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

Ryan, who co-wrote and produced Adele’s hits Rumour Has Itand Remedy, has hinted that he will be involved in her new album, which is dueout in September.

He told The Sun: ‘[I’m going to] stay completely mum on newAdele. I’ll just say that she sounds better than ever.’

As well as success with OneRepublic’s own music, Ryan hasalso become known as one of the biggest songwriters in pop, having written hitsincluding Beyonce’s Halo and XO, Ellie Goulding’s Burn and Ed Sheeran’sHappier.

It’s been four years since OneRepublic last released analbum, and Ryan admitted he needed a break from the constant touring and work.

He explained: ‘I was falling apart emotionally, physically,mentally. I hadn’t seen my kids in seven months.

‘I was taking Xanax to curb my anxiety and I was havingpanic attacks and heart palpitations. I was just going too hard. I think I wasgoing to die.

‘So the month the album came out, I went to the label and Isaid, “I can’t support this album, I don’t have it in me, I have to have abreak. We have not stopped for ten years.”’

Ryan spent the time away from touring with his wife,Genevieve and their sons Copeland and Miles, while still working on songwritingbehind the scenes.

Adele last released an album in 2015, called 25, and letslip that her next record would be coming in September.

The singer was officiating a wedding for her pals at TheMason’s Arms in Battersea when she grabbed the mic and shared some welcomeinformation after treating the guests to some songs.

After singing her hit Rolling In The Deep and a cover ofCandi Staton’s Young Hearts Run Free, she also told the room in a videocirculating on social media: ‘Expect my album in September.’
