Corrie bosses warn Simon Gregson to ‘be on best behaviour’ after drunken Aintree brawl

Coronation Street veteranSimon Gregson has been warned by the soap’s bosses to “be on his best behaviour”, according to reports.

The I’m A Celebrity star, 47 who was the runner up on last year's showis thought to have been quizzed by police last week after a brawl broke out near Aintree racecourse.

In addition to this, Simon was reportedlyasked to leave a club earlier this monthafter he danced topless on a table at his co-star Alexandra Mardell’s leaving do.

In light of his recent behaviour, Simon has allegedly been told to be “on his best behaviour” for the foreseeable future.

“Simon is one of Corrie’s longest-serving stars and is loved on set, but that doesn’t mean he has carte blanche to behave however he likes," a source told The Sun.

“Bosses have told Simon his recent behaviour is not ok and it’s not a good look for the soap.

"They’ve warned him to clean up his act. Simon apologised and told them he’d be on his best behaviour from now on."

In light of the ongoing drama with his on-screen daughter Amy Barlow, the actor told us: "My advice [for Steve] would be to go on holiday for a very long time and have a break.
