Geordie Shore star Chantelle Connelly gives birth to baby boy as her mum reveals she ‘didn’t know’ she’d become a mum as she was asleep during emergency C-section

Chantelle Connelly’s mother has revealed the happy news that the 29 year old star has welcomed her baby boy.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Chantelle’s mum revealed that the star was put to sleep for an emergency C-section and was therefore unaware that she had welcomed her bundle of joy.

Allison Connelly wrote on Instagram: “My beautiful grandson born 6 minutes past. 6 weighs 6lb 6oz.

“Chantelle doesn't know he's here yet had an emergency section she is still in theatre they had to put her to sleep she wl wake up to this beautiful little bundle.” [sic]

She also shared a picture of the Newcastle Birthing Centre logo.

The baby boy is the first child for Chantelle and her boyfriend, Lee Blackburn.

She revealed in September last year that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Lee, and has even discovered the gender of the child, announcing her baby to be a boy.

Chantelle uploaded a picture to her Instagram account during her pregnancy, in which she revealed her excitement for her baby bump to become prominent.

She wrote: "Before I had a bun in the oven. I still literally can not wait for a bump tho the best feeling I’ve ever experienced is my baby kicking, there’s no feeling like it."

In December last year she shared a pregnancy scan of her son, writing: "My beautiful baby boy."

Chantelle has revealed the name of her unborn child as Lee Junior James Blackburn.
