Gisele Bundchen Skips Tom Brady’s First Home Game Amid Rumored Marital Woes

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback’s kids are in the stands at the game following weeks of reports about the couple’s ‘serious disagreement’ over his decision to cancel his NFL retirement.

AceShowbizGisele Bundchen decided not to watch Tom Brady on the field. The Brazilian supermodel did not attend her husband’s first home game of the season amid alleged marriage issue over his decision to withdraw his NFL retirement.

On Sunday, September 25, the 45-year-old seven-time Super Bowl champion and Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers for their first game at Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium this season. While Gisele didn’t attend the game, the couple’s two kids, 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake and 12-year-old son Benjamin Rein, along with John “Jack” Edward, 15, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, were there.

A source told PEOPLE that though she was not there, “Gisele continues to be dedicated to her kids and is working on personal projects.” Gisele also previously sent a supportive message to Tom ahead of the Bucs beating the Dallas Cowboys on September 11.

Prior to this, a person close to the couple told Page Six that Tom was “hopeful” she would put her disappointment with him aside and come support the team. Gisele “mostly only attends home games,” according to the source.

“Gisele has left Tom in the past during arguments but always returned once things cooled down. They are talking, but mostly about the kids at the moment,” the insider continued, “But Tom hopes they will reconcile.”

Tom reportedly “knows that this is his last season” in the NFL “if he wants to stay married” to Gisele, who wants him to be “more present” for the kids. While it’s reported that his marriage is not “over by any means,” the athlete knows he will have to retire permanently after this season to smooth over any alleged marital issues.

Amid the rumored rift between the married couple, Tom was caught throwing an iPad in frustration during an “ugly” game on September 18. Later, the athlete apologized for his emotional outburst. “Sorry for breaking that tablet,” he said in a video he shared on his social media platforms. “I think that’s going to be another Twitter meme or something like that.”

Gisele, in the meantime, was seen crying on the phone during a recent New York City outing. While walking along Hudson River Park, near the Tribeca apartment she shares with her husband, on September 14, the 42-year-old beauty was caught wiping away her tears.
