I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner Danny Miller has been forced into isolation after fiancée Steph Jones tested positive for Covid.
Former Emmerdale star and King of the Castle Danny, 30, who danced to ABBA with David Ginola at the I'm A Celebrity wrap party, took to his Instagram Story to share with his 673,000 followers that he was in isolation with Steph and their seven week old son Albert.
"Hi guys so after 23 days of not being able to see or speak to Steph and Albert which was the hardest time of my life we now have the perfect opportunity to catch up with one another as we begin isolation because Steph has, unfortunately bless her, caught Covid and she is not feeling the best today so she has just gone down for a sleep while Albert is asleep.
He continued: "But yeah don't worry about us we are all good and yeah if you don't laugh about these things you are going to cry aren't you?"
It comes after Danny was reunited with Steph and Albert the day after his I’m A Celeb win, with Steph sharing a photo of him kissing baby Albert’s head on Danny’s Instagram page, which she has been running through the duration of his time on the hit ITV programme.
She captioned the post: “Danny’s home”, followed by a blue heart emoji.
People have since congratulated Danny on his win, and told him to enjoy his time with his young family.
Fellow campmate Arlene Phillips, who was the first to leave the Castle, commented: “Hi honey. This must be everything in your life right now. Home , your family , your well deserved win”.
A fan added: “Congratulations Danny well deserved,” as a third penned: “Congratulations Danny, enjoy being back with your family xxx”
Danny and Steph, who works as a midwife, first originally met at school and had a sweet romance, but later went their separate ways. They later reconnected and began dating again in 2019, with Danny proposing to Steph on a romantic trip to St Lucia for his 30th birthday celebrations in January 2021.
The couple welcomed baby Albert in October 2021, just weeks before Danny was due to head to the I’m A Celeb castle.
Posting a snap of the baby’s hand a few days after the birth, Steph wrote: “I was lucky enough to find someone who shines bright enough to lead me out of the dark, but I never imagined to be led to the brightest place imaginable, my baby.
“I never realised the happiness a child brings you. Thank you @danny_b_miller for showing me true happiness and being the best support imaginable.”
