Sara Davies, 37, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on Strictly Come Dancing’s latest results show after she was voted out of the competition. The Dragons’ Den entrepreneur was emotional as she gushed about her “one in a million” partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

Sara and her professional dance partner Aljaž, 31, performed the Argentine Tango last night.

Their routine earned them 32 points from the judges, landing them in fourth place, but that was not enough to save them from the dreaded dance-off.

Also in the bottom two were Tilly Ramsay and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, who earned just 29 points for their Quickstep to I Won’t Dance by Damita Jo.

Despite the younger pair of dancers placing almost at the bottom of the leaderboard, all four judges agreed that they should be chosen to stay.

Sharing her thoughts on tonight’s episode with her 137,000 Instagram followers, Sara talked about how her time on the show had been “life-changing”.

She wrote: “Well I’m not gonna lie – I’m pretty gutted – my Strictly journey has been an unbelievable experience and I wasn’t quite ready to finish it yet but you know what they say about all good things coming to an end…

“I’m going to miss dancing every day – but what I’m really gonna miss is this guy here.

“He literally is one in a million and lights up every room he walks into and has had such a positive impact not only on me but my whole family,” she continued.

“He’s become an honorary member of the Davies clan these past 2 months and the boys are beyond devastated that ‘uncle Aljaž’ isn’t going to be round for tea tomorrow night.”

“I know it sounds like such a cliche but this really has been a life-changing experience – I’ve learnt so much about myself and I’ve achieved things I never thought I could.

“I’m so proud of every dance I’ve done and I’m so pleased I went out on such a high with that Argentine Tango after having had the best week!” (sic)

Alongside her moving words about her performing partner, Sara shared a series of sweet snaps with Aljaž that were taken during their time training together.

Sara and Aljaž have performed some incredible dances over the course of the competition, including a Tango to Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel that earned them their top score of four nines in Week Four.

When the pair learned they were the latest couple to be voted off, they both had nothing but positive things to say about one another to presenter Tess Daly.

In a moving speech about his partner, Aljaž said: “You have been an absolute joy. A testament to hard work.

“Thank you for letting me spend so much time, not just with you, but with your whole family.

“I felt so welcome up North. It made me feel like I am back home in Slovenia actually because everyone is so lovely and friendly.

“I’m going to miss you so much. I’m going to miss dancing with you.”

In response, Sara said: “He is one in a million. He knows it. I tell him every day and this wouldn’t have been the experience that it was if it wasn’t for you.”
