Jeremy Clarkson’s fans have been worrying about the future of Clarkson’s Farm after some rumours emerged. However, now the Top Gear presenter has clarified what is actually going on with the future of his series.

Yesterday, some rumours emerged that the second series of the hit farming show Clarkson’s Farm had been axed.

This came from something Jeremy himself posted to his 7.3 million followers on Twitter.

When asked if they were shooting season two, he had penned: “No. We aren’t.

“Write to Amazon, it’s their decision.”

Some viewers took this as an indication the series had been cancelled ahead of its second outing.

However, the former Top Gear presenter has now hit back at the reports.

This comes after some fans discussed how much they were enjoying the series.

One penned: “Thoroughly enjoying Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon.

“Genuinely insightful, funny, and all held together with the honest undertone of @JeremyClarkson really being invested and caring.

“Just wonderful telly. Do watch.”

Another then added: “And Amozon have said they won’t be making a 2nd series, absolute disgrace as it’s the best programme on TV. Fuming.” (sic)

However, Jeremy was quick to reassure his fans about the show’s future.

He branded the reports being covered as “mischievous”.

He then penned: “I shouldn’t pay any attention to it.”

Amazon has not yet made any decision on whether the show will be returning or not.

Generally, the streamer tends to wait a little while before they cancel or renew a series.

Therefore, fans should keep waiting patiently to hear any news about what’s next for the show.

Elsewhere, Jeremy was left perplexed by his Diddly Squat farm shop’s profits.

Appearing in the season finale of Clarkson’s Farm, he discovered he had made just £144 in his first year of the business.

This was after he deducted his high costs from his profits.

He replied: “Fortunately, we have this subsidy, when that goes, what are farmers going to do?”

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video now.
