Kim Kardashian has tearful reunion with Kanye West in Wyoming

Kim Kardashian flew to Wyoming this week for a reunion with her husband, Kanye West, and sources say it was ‘emotional’.

There has been concern over the couple’s marriage in recent weeks after Kanye, 43, publicly disclosed they considered aborting their eldest child, North, while also claiming he wanted a divorce and slamming Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, in a Twitter rant.

Kanye has since issued a public apology to his wife of five years and they were pictured together for the first time on Monday.

In the photos obtained by the Mail Online, Kim, 39, sat in the driver’s seat of their car and appeared to be tearful while having a tense discussion with the Grammy-winning rapper.

The pair had just picked up some fast food at a Wendy’s in Cody, Wyoming where Kanye owns a sprawling $14 million (£11 million) ranch and has been staying over the past two weeks.

An insider told People of the couple’s reunion: ‘Kim hasn’t seen Kanye for weeks.

‘She is very emotional about everything, and also exhausted. She feels very hurt by Kanye. She has tried to reach him multiple times and he just ignores her. It’s all a bad situation.

‘She decided to fly to Cody to speak to him in person. She doesn’t want to be ignored anymore.’

Another insider told E! News: ‘It got very emotional.’

Kim spoke out last week to address Kanye’s behaviour and acknowledged that the Gold Digger rapper was in the middle of a bipolar episode.

Concerns were sparked after Kanye hosted his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina on 19 July and proceeded to break down in tears while stating: ‘I almost killed my daughter,’ while discussing abortion.

Days later, the musician launched a scathing Twitter rant calling his mother-in-law ‘Kris Jong-Un’ and stating he had been trying to get divorced for two years after Kim had a professional meeting in a hotel with rapper Meek Mill.

In her lengthy statement, Kim later said: ‘I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.’

‘Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.’

She added: ‘He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressure being being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.’

Kanye then apologised to Kim and said via Twitter: ‘I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.

‘I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.’

Kim and Kanye share four children – North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one.
