Scarlett Johansson has welcomed her first child with husband Colin Jost.
The 36 year old's representative confirmed the news to People magazine on Wednesday 18 August.
While this may be her first baby – whose gender and name is yet be to revealed – with Colin, she is also mum to daughter Rose Dorothy, six, who she shares with her French journalist ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
Just days before the news was announced, Scarlett's husband Colin, 39, who is an American comedian, actor and writer, confirmed suspicions of her pregnancy as part of a stand up performance in Connecticut.
Speaking at the Ridgefield Playhouse over the weekend, it had been reported by PageSix that he said: “We’re having a baby, it’s exciting”.
Rumours of the pregnancy started in July as Scarlett missed a number of events promoting her new feature film release, Black Widow.
A source had recently told PageSix that she was pregnant, saying: "She's pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile.
"She hasn't been doing many interviews or events to promote Black Widow, which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release, and she is both the star and an executive producer."
Another source told the publication that the pair are "thrilled" by the news.
Scarlett and her other half were first linked together back in 2017 after she hosted a variety show.
Two years later, Colin got down on one knee and proposed to the Hollywood actress with an incredible 11-carat light brown diamond ring.

Like many couples, Scarlett and Colin's wedding had to be postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Despite this, they still went ahead with a lowkey ceremony in October 2020 at her home in Palisades, New York.
Fans immediately flocked to Twitter to voice their congratulations to the couple after they welcomed their first child as one person wrote: "Scarlett already gave birth and I'm emotional Congrats to her and Colin and big sister rose," with a red heart emoji.
Another said: "scarlett is a hero congratulations to the baby on the birth of the baby".
While a third added: "Scarlett gave birth omg I'm so happy for her and Colin".
While many were left ecstatic by the news of their newborn baby, some completely missed the fact that she was pregnant to begin with. "Scarlett Johansson was pregnant?" one person wrote, followed by a shocked emoji.
