Giovanna Fletcher has said she knows she and husband Tom won't fall victim to the so-called Strictly curse, as she is confident that he will never cheat.
The celebrity couple met as teenagers and got married in 2012 before becoming parents to three children – Buzz, seven, Buddy, five, and Max, three.
In spite of numerous rumours of the curse taking hold this year, Giovanna is confident that they won't affect her marriage, stressing that Tom's dance partner Amy Dowden is like one of the family.
In a column for the DailyTelegraph, the star shared: “We both adore Amy, she’s so lovely and kind.
"I don’t believe in the Strictly curse.
“Besides, my husband is in a band, if he wanted to cheat on me, he’d have done it long ago,” the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast host added.
Tom and Giovanna met when they were 13 years old when they were both students at Sylvia Young School for Performing Arts, and have been in love ever since – although it hasn't all been plain sailing.
The pair revealed they once broke up for 14 months and Giovanna dated another man.
However, the break made the pair realise they were meant to be together, and they reconciled and later married.
Giovanna told Fabulous: "I had a boyfriend for the 14 months we weren’t together but Tom was always there.
"We never left each other alone, really."
Now it seems that the pair are more in love than ever, as Giovanna shared their daily routine, including making her McFly star husband a smoothie every morning.
The author continued, stating that she and Tom snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of wine every night and catch up with one another after their hectic days.
Giovanna said although the late nights may hit them the next morning, she said sometimes she “really needs to be” with Tom, and vice versa.
Tom is a current favourite among the 2021 Strictly Come Dancing cohort, and wowed audiences this week with his impressive Paso Doble.
He and professional partner Amy Dowden have so far managed to escape the bottom two and have been receiving positive feedback from the judges, despite having to miss the second week of the live show after they both contracted Covid.
