Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin has been praised for revealing his flash glucose monitor on his arm after stripping off his shirt on the show.
Over the weekend, the professional dancer took his shirt off as he and Tilly Ramsay performed the Samba to Levitating by Dua Lipa to secure their place in the quarter-finals.
And while the pair were ultimately eliminated from the popular BBC competition, fans couldn't help but commend Nikita after noticing he was wearing a white sensor patch, which is commonly used for people with Type 1 diabetes.
"People w/ diabetes don't often get represented, especially in such a public way. CGM – continuous glucose monitoring – helps so many of us live full lives a bit more easily. Nikita's brought us onto the ballroom floor!" one person tweeted.
Another wrote: "I hadn't realised Nikita has diabetes. Just spotted his Freestyle Libre monitor. #StrictlyComeDancing #Diabetes."
A third added: "Huge respect for #StrictlyComeDancing pro Nikita. Serious talent, strength & athleticism. Take that, #diabetes. #t1d #abbottfreestylelibre."
Another wrote: "Great to see Nikita wearing his Libre with pride, such a positive role model for young people living with Type1 Diabetes #T1D #diabetes #StrictlyComeDancing."
Following their dance, judge Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Rhys and Nancy and said: "Well, on Saturday night, I gave both couples seven, so in my head they are equal.
"The dance-off proved that they both improved enormously, although one was quite flashy and semi-naked [in reference to the fact Nikita's shirt came off during their dance-off performance]. But, I'd like to save Rhys and Nancy."
Tilly and Nikita scored 30 points from the four judges on Saturday night while her proud father Gordon Ramsay, 55, was seen wiping away tears as he sat in the audience along with wife Tana Ramsay.
Speaking about their time on the show, Tilly said: "I'd just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing, positive journey for me.
"From everyone here to backstage, wardrobe, makeup and camera crew. It's just been the most extraordinary time.
"I found out something about myself that I didn't know I could do, I didn't know I could dance and have fun like this. So a massive thank you and, obviously, a huge thank you to Nikita, who has guided me out of my shell and has just made this the most amazing experience."
