Brothers Osborne musician T.J. Osborne said that the response to him coming out as gay has been “a Tsunami of Love.”
“It’s a hard thing to describe and a very difficult thing to go through, and I even had a lot of support around me. But once I finally came out, I didn’t really understand the magnitude of how much people cared about me and loved me and supported me,” T.J. said in an appearance with brother John Osborne on “CBS This Morning” on Friday.
The country music star added that had he realized the attitude, he would have probably come out a long time ago and saved himself a lot of strife.
T.J. encouraged gays who shy away from revealing their sexual orientation that “there’s people that love you and people that support you a lot.”
T.J. Osborne, who forms the country music duo with John Osborne, revealed in an interview with TIME magazine earlier this month that he is gay.
