Taylor Swift is an absolute vision in a red floral gown with crimson lipstick as she leads the stars at the premiere of the film Cats in New York City

She has her biggest feature film role to date as the singing feline Bombalurina.

Taylor Swift stunned as she hit the red carpet Monday night at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City for the world premiere of her new musical Cats.

The 30-year-old pop star-turned-actress looked effortlessly elegant in a red satin gown.

Taylor was draped in an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2020 appliqued ruby floral fil coupé satin gown.

The off-the-shoulder dress featured a deep shade of crimson adorned with festive floral stitching and showed off her well-toned arms.

The intriguing gown also featured a featured a wide burgundy section running over her right side with a thick plant stem separating the two sections. 

The You Need To Calm Down singer had her blonde locks styled back in a bun with stylish bangs and separate strands framing her impeccably made-up face.

Cats isn’t the first film role for Taylor, who previously had parts in Valentine’s Day and The Giver, but it’s certainly her most prominent role to date.

The pop star plays Bombalurina, who traditionally has to dance more than many of the other cats in the musical, making it a great fit for the performer.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music was originally written to accompany Nobel Prize winner T. S. Eliot’s poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.

The song cycle was later arranged into a musical, which made its debut at London’s West End in 1981, followed by a blockbuster Broadway run starting in 1982.

She wore a dotted sheer top under her jacket and carried along a thin white clutch.


Back in black: Rebel Wilson also stuck with a dark dress with a glittering black sequined stop that showcased her cleavage, along with a matte black skirt featuring a high slit. Kelly Bensimon had on a lacy black top with a short skirt, black stockings and leopard-print heels

His co-star Idris Elba mixed classy and casual with a charcoal overcoat and a navy blue mock turtleneck. Two of the stars of the rebooted Queer Eye, Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski, showed off their haute couture looks ahead of the premiere.

Jonathan covered up his white and yellow striped shirt and black leggings with a taupe robe with black trim, and he added a pair of dark purple suede boots to his ensemble.

Antoni looked ready for business in his navy blazer and slim tie with matching white bars. He stayed on theme with a matching kilt, navy socks and black boots.

Broadway star Robbie Fairchild, who’s featured in cats, wore a black tweed jacket with a gray vest and charcoal trousers. 

Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda wore a black textured blazer with a charcoal shirt and a gray striped tie. 

Queer Eye: Jonathan Van Ness covered up his white and yellow striped shirt with a taupe robe with black trim, and he added a pair of dark purple suede boots to his ensemble.
