Towie star Junaid Ahmed shows off results of surgery after ‘new nose, chin and hairline’

After jetting out to Turkey in December, TOWIE star Junaid Ahmed has a new look following procedures to transform his nose, chin and hairline.

The 29 year old star unveiled the results of his new face by posing on his sofa at home with a glass of orange juice as he celebrated his birthday.

Junaid had spent £10,000 on surgery before joining TOWIE last year, but now wants a "more natural look". He wrote on Instagram: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. New nose, new chin, new hairline."

While his celebrity pals wished him a happy birthday, many fans waded in to comment on his new facial features.

"You look amazing," one commented, while another said: "Looking amazing! Happy birthday."

A third added: "Happy birthday darling, the newness is looking amazing."

A social media user also wrote: "Cheekbone goals," while another said: "Chiselled."

Junaid previously spoke of the reasons behind his decision to go ahead with the surgery, saying it was due to three childhood attacks by bullies at school.

"When I was younger, I was so horrifically bullied in school. I was attacked on a few occasions, and the bullies broke my nose in three different places," he shared on the Secure the Insecure podcast.

"This wasn't something I just thought out, because I've had a lot of comments like, 'Oh, he's just come on reality TV, and he's getting his nose'. Far from the point."

Junaid added: "This is years of torment that I had to go through, and I've had breathing issues since the age of 16, when my nose was broken by the bullies."

The star revealed his school let him leave earlier every day because they were worried about his safety.

"On three occasions walking home from school, I was attacked by a group of boys in my school and they broke my nose on three occasions that I've never ever spoken about this publicly before," he shared.

"But now it's about time, now I've got a platform. People need to know. I would not wish that upon my worst enemy.

"I'd have black eyes. My nose would bleed in the middle. I would lie and say I fell over."

It comes after Junaid exclusively spoke to OK! about being through his fair share of "hardship" in his life – including the time he was kicked out of his family home at the age of 18 when he came out to his parents.

Reflecting on the time, Junaid shared: "Obviously, that was a long time ago and that was something just unfortunate that I had to go through in my life.

"We're on better terms now, and I have no regrets. Everyone goes through hardship in their life and that was one of the things I had to go through."

The TV star continued: "I think it has just made me so much stronger as a person and made me the person I am today.

"And I really do live my life on the fact that yes, I have gone through hard times, but I'm also so grateful for everything."
