BTS star V passes the time in lockdown by mimicking his TV

BTS star V is out here trying to find things to entertain himself by in lockdown and, well, his latest #StayAtHomeChallenge is really something.

The K-pop star has been passing the time by mimicking his TV.

Yup, V shared a video to Twitter of him impersonating a singer he was watching on screen and he wants us all to do the same.

He had on Postmodern Jukebox’s retro version of Closer by The Chainsmokers featuring Kenton Chen and not only sang along while stood in front of the box, but mimicked the singer’s dance moves too.

And it was a pretty spot on performance.

V tweeted: ‘Everyone, when you’re bored, have a conversation with your television #StayingAtHomeChallenge.’

Appearing via video link the boys performed Boys With Luv in their loungewear.

Sharing a message for audiences at home, RM said: ‘During a time when social distancing is crucial, we’re so grateful we can connect with  you from here.

‘It may seem like we’re isolated, but we’re still connected through our shared experiences, our courage and our laughter.’

Their performance came after the news BTS has postponed its North American leg of their Map of the Soul world tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.

BTS’s label Big Hit Entertainment said the dates have been postponed and will be rescheduled to ensure ‘the safety of everyone involved’.

The boyband were due to kick off the tour on April 25 in Santa Clara, California, before finishing in Chicago, Illinois, on June 6.

As it stands, the rest of the tour – including the European leg which begins in London on July 3 – is set to go ahead.

There are currently 328,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the US and 9,365 deaths have been recorded.
