If you want to watch your favorite soccer teams compete in the Champions League, but you don’t have cable, you can use CBS All Access. The service will stream every game from the tournament.
The first two matches will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on February 16. You can find a full list of games here.
CBS All Access offers an affordable limited-commercial plan for $6 a month or $60 a year. An ad-free plan is available for $10 a month or $100 a year, but live programs still feature commercials. If you’re new to the streaming service, you can sign up for the seven-day trial period in order to watch the first four Champions League games for free.
As part of a special promotion, you can lock in a full year of CBS All Access for 50% off if you use the promo code PARAMOUNTPLUS at checkout.
With that in mind, it should be noted that CBS All Access will be rebranded as Paramount Plus starting March 4. This rebrand is not expected to impact availability for Champions League tournament matches. Instead, the rebrand will simply offer an expanded selection of on-demand movies and shows from various Paramount brands.
In addition to gaining access to every Champions League match, a subscription to CBS All Access/Paramount Plus provides you with the CBS Sports HQ, live CBS streaming, and an expansive library of films and television series.
Fans tuning into the UEFA Champions League knockout phase over the coming weeks can expect some exciting matchups, including four big games to start the round of 16:
- Barcelona vs. PSG – February 16 at 3 p.m. ET
- RB Leipzig vs. Liverpool – February 16 at 3 p.m. ET
- Porto vs. Juventus – February 17 at 3 p.m. ET
- Sevilla vs. Borussia Dortmund February 17 at 3 p.m. ET
The last time Paris and Barcelona competed against one another in the UEFA Champions League, Neymar played an influential role, and his absence will most definitely be felt by PSG on Tuesday afternoon. While Neymar is missing the first leg, it remains unclear if he will be returning for the second leg versus Barcelona that is scheduled for March 10.
After a venue change, the Leipzig vs. Liverpool game will be held in the Puskás Aréna in Budapest on Tuesday. This will be the first UEFA competition match to be played between the two teams. German coaches Julian Nagelsmann and Jürgen Klopp are expected to get exceptional performances out of their players, and I’m anticipating a tight match.
After the initial day of action, two more games will be played on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET: Porto vs. Juventus, and Sevilla vs. Borussia Dortmund. Porto comes into the UEFA Champions League game against Juventus with a major chip on their shoulder; the last three times that the two teams went head-to-head ended in defeat for Porto.
The logistics for this year’s tournament have been difficult to nail down, and Leipzig vs. Liverpool was not the only match to switch areas. The Mönchengladbach vs. Manchester City game that is scheduled to be played on February 24 has also been moved to the Puskás Aréna in Budapest. In addition, the Atlético de Madrid vs. Chelsea match scheduled for February 23 is being moved to the Arena Naţională in Bucharest.
