Cleaner reveals how she got her kitchen floor sparkling using a £5 fabric stain remover

A MUM has revealed how she got her floors sparkling clean using a stain remover intended for clothes.

Taking to the Facebook group, Mums Who Cook, Clean and Organise the Australian woman shared the astonishing before and after snaps of kitchen floor after using Vanish Gold.

Before using the product the mum's, who also works as a professional cleaner, floor was showing a build-up of dirt and grime in the tile grout.

But after using the fabric stain remover the grouting in her client's kitchen is a pristine white and good as new.

Captioning her post she suggested that fellow mums step away from harsher products in favour of the washing powder.

She wrote:“Not sure if this has been shared yet but with all the posts regarding long life grout cleaner while affective the fumes are so very harsh…

“These are results I got using Napisan Gold (Australian brand name) at a client's house.”

Explaining her method she added: “Mop bucket water couple scoops napisan leave for few mins.. scrub with grout scrubber.

“Just be careful as obviously floors are extremely slippery when doing… I done a whole section s at a time but u could do less to minimise risk.”

And fellow group members were seriously impressed, praising her work in the comments.

One wrote: “Looks so good! I'll have to try this on the weekend.”

Agreeing a second said: “Wow will let my daughter know next time she does a bond clean, she was told the best thing was the toilet cleaner, cheap yes and it worked but was hard graft for several days, this is amazing.”
