YOU might have thought a white tiled kitchen floor was a good idea when you moved in – but as sleek as it looks at first, it's not exactly the most practical choice in the long-term.
Well rather than ripping out the whole thing, one savvy DIY fan has revealed how she gave her grotty tiles a luxe makeover using some bargain B&Q stickers.
Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the woman raved about the brand's grey wooden-effect stickers which cost £10 for a pack of seven.
She wrote: "The kitchen is older than me and the photos hide a lot of sins! So please forgive me for having a desire of wanting a new kitchen fitted.
"We ideally wanted a new kitchen but in these crazy uncertain times our bank balance says 'no'!!"
After buying 10 packs of the stickers, the woman's husband got to work sticking them down over the tiles – and used some extra glue to make sure they stayed in place.
Thrilled with her new chic grey kitchen floor, the woman gushed: "They look fantastic!!!"
Needless to say, other members were blown away with the transformation – and the post racked up over 5,600 "likes".
One replied: "Look beautiful!!! I used the adhesive tiles on my first time long ago, they last . Just use extra spray adhesive."
"Amazing," another gushed. "Well done to you both!"
A third wrote: "They really look amazing! Thinking of putting them In my kitchen for the time being."
