A WOMAN revealed that she spent £176 on her boyfriend’s Uber account to go and confront him after spotting what she thought was evidence of his infidelity on a Facetime call.
A TikTok user said she spotted a pink slip-on shoe in her boyfriend’s bedroom when she was on video chat with him.
To try to find out the truth, she then booked a cab on his Uber account and spent £176.82 to go and see him.
The woman quickly learned that she was mistaken and her boyfriend wasn’t cheating on her at all – the pink slip-on shoe in his bedroom actually belonged to her.
She said: “Guys it was my slider, but at least he was happy to see me.”
The video racked up 97,000 likes and opinion was divided in the comments section.
Some viewers were totally on board with her approach.
“Ok but I’m glad you used HIS card details, not your own. Rinse him bby g before you leave”, wrote one supportive viewer, while another said: “He shouldn’t have expected nothing less.”
Some even admitted they’d done similar things to make sure their boyfriends were staying faithful.
“Omg my bf went down to visit a ‘friend’ in Nottingham, so I drove four hours to see if it really was just a friend”, one commenter admitted.
Others, however, thought the woman’s response to seeing the shoe was overdramatic.
“Insecurities are out the roof”, said one critical commenter, while another wrote: “Nah it’s never that serious, that’s an unnecessary amount of time wasted and for what?? Just block him everywhere, heal and move on…”
