Steal Kate Middleton’s style while you do the weekly shop with bargain dupes from Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's

WHEN Lidl released their £9.99 tea-dress that's identical to one of Kate Middleton’s summer frocks, people were snapping it up as quicker than you could say 'Supermarket Sweep'.

The feathered inspired frock cost Kate £449 from Ridley London, but Lidl’s dupe is under a tenner.

Yet they’re not the only supermarket cashing in on the 38-year-old’s looks, other brands have taken inspiration from the Queen of style.

Here, Fabulous' acting fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend rounds up the best supermarket steals so you can grab on your weekly shop.

Go dotty at Tesco

Kate had fashion fans going dotty yesterday when she teamed up with the BBC to launch the Tiny Happy People initiative wearing a gorgeous spotty Emilia Wickstead dress with her favourite £120 Castañer 'Carina' wedges, £120.

But next time you're in Tesco, why not grab an almost identical dupe F&F are selling for just £26.

Blaze (r) of glory

While her Massimo Dutti trousers would set you back £69.95 you can pick up a double from F&F at Tesco.

You can nip over to Sainsburys to complete the look with this broderie anglaise top from Tu, instead of splashing £255 in M.i.h like Kate did.

Feeling floral

Australian Faithfull the Brand has been put on the fashion map thanks to the Duchess of Cambridge stepping out in one of their floral designs last month when she visited a hospice in Norfolk.

With searches for the brand soaring by a whopping 89 percent, the £180 dress sold out in a matter of hours – but fortunately for you, Tesco has a ditsy floral number that is a blooming great match.

Pretty in pink

Looking all rosy last summer, Kate slipped on a pretty pink dress to watch a game of polo at the Billingbear club alongside Meghan Markle back in July.

But the breezy L.K Bennett dress had a far from light price-tag, setting you back a hefty £325.

Fear not, M&S have followed Kate’s fashionable footsteps with this flowy number for a mere £19.25.

Go green

One of her favourite, more pricey, high street labels is LK Bennett and she's worn numerous pieces by them including a long sleeved green dress in December 2018 to Evelina Children’s Hospital.

Her frock would set you back £325 but you can go wild in the isles at George at Asda and have a stunning version for only £25.

Suits you

Onlookers were proud as punch to not only see the Duchess support the NHS with a visit to the London Ambulance control room back in March, but also that she was flying the flag for our high street heroes, M&S.

Joined by Prince Will, Kate got suited and booted in £99 pink blazer and matching £59 slacks.

But to save a few quid, M&S have a bargain copy available now – so you can be in the pink too.

Keep cool in linen

Shirt up, as a white linen button-up is a staple in the royals wardrobe too.

During a 2016 tour, the Duchess trekked the Himalayas in Jaeger’s £99 classic linen shirt, which quickly sold out and is now no longer available.

But you can still look all white without spending a pretty penny, as Aldi has a copy-Kate version for as little as £5.99.

Grab it while you can, with enough change for your milk and eggs.
