Headquartered out in the UK, clothing label STORY mfg. has aligned with the vector imprint for its first-ever footwear collaboration atop the ever-classic Reebok Club C 85. To no surprise, the London-based entity applies its sustainable design approach to the lifestyle silhouette by zeroing in on merging together natural materials with signature embroidered design details.
Leather materials which traditionally form this model’s upper build, have been substituted for a full hemp canvas fabric dyed with to a natural beige. Up top, these collaborative kicks are bereft of Reebok branding, and instead invite in stitched-on peace signs that rest where you would typically find the Boston-based company’s British flag insignia, as well as tongue branding that spells out the phrase “Forage for wisdom with Story mfg”. Both of these overtly stand out with bright and bold blue skins.
In terms of its additional design aspects, the midsoles and treading are equally tinted with a washed yellow complexion, the former of which delivers a Reebok hit colored with a muted grey to match that of its sock liner.
This colorway is available for purchase at select retailers like atmos for ¥13,000 (approx. $125 USD), but STORY mfg. and Reebok releases could also likely go down in the coming weeks.
