Veganuary is just around the corner – and with it comes lots of new plant-based product launches.
Domino’s was slow to get into vegan products after only just rolling out its first pizza this year but is now really going for it.
From Monday January 4, you’ll be able to get your hands on a whole pizza and the brand is also launching meatless nuggets.
Currently those who don’t eat animal products can enjoy the vegan margherita pizza and the vegan vegi supreme pizza as well as the vegan garlic & herb dip and potato wedges.
For pizza fans, you’ll be able to get Chick-Ain’t pizza -fresh vegan dough is hand-stretched, spread with tomato sauce and sprinkled with Domino’s vegan cheese before being topped with plant-based strips, crunchy onions, finely chopped green and red peppers. The pizza is available in a medium classic crust or large Italian style base.
But if you prefer the sides, you can order the nuggets – plant-based bites in crispy southern-fried breadcrumbs.
Both dishes are served with the vegan garlic and herb dip.
The Chick-Ain’t pizza costs from £17.99 for a medium Classic Crust and the nuggets will be priced from £5.99 per portion, though please note prices may vary slightly from store to store.
Domino’s Legume Legend, Melanie Howe said: ‘Our food innovation team haven’t stopped experimenting in the test kitchen since we launched our vegan-friendly range a few months ago and we just know our customers are going to adore the Chick-Ain’t pizza and vegan nuggets.
‘Feedback on the existing range has been overwhelmingly good and it’s brilliant to offer even more choice to customers. These delicious additions land in stores just in time for the start of Veganuary, pizza and plants truly are a match made in heaven.’
Other recent vegan launches include the cook-at-home Greggs sausage roll at Iceland.
