Kopparberg releases new passionfruit and orange flavour cider

With the current wintery weather, drinking an ice-cold cider in the sunshine might not appeal right now.

But you’re going to want to stock up on these for when the days get warmer.

Kopparberg is known for its fruit ciders and now it’s adding a passionfruit & orange flavour to the range.

You’ll be able to pick it up exclusively at Sainsbury’s from today, February 14.

It’s available as a multipack of 10 330ml cans for £12, or if you want to just try it out first, you can get a single 500ml bottle for £1.90.

The passionfruit & orange joins mixed fruit, strawberry & lime, pear, blueberry & lime, raspberry, elderflower & lime, sweet apple, naked apple, rhubarb, passionfruit (yes, you can get it without the orange too) and cherry on the brand’s menu.

It’s not the first time the brand has mixed the two flavours though – you can also try its passionfruit and orange gin if you like spirits over a cider. It costs around £20 per bottle.

Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing at Kopparberg, comments: ‘As we’re readily anticipating that first drink out of lockdown, we wanted to create a flavour that reminds Kopparberg drinkers that great times are ahead of us.

‘As we look forward to a summer outdoors where we once again can make lasting memories with friends, whether that’s the first time back to the park with your best mate, or in your favourite beer-garden.’
