Quality Street launches brand new sweet – the Crème Caramel Crisp

Quality Street is a firm Christmas favourite – and we all have strong opinions about each sweet.

Whether you would fight to the death for a toffee penny, or always leave the blue ones until last, your sweet choice, and the order you eat them in, matters.

So Christmas chocolate fans will be delighted to know that there’s a new kid on the block this year.

The new Crème Caramel Crisp sweet has an indulgent caramel flavour complemented by crispy biscuit pieces and coated in milk and white chocolate.

It’s actually the first Quality Street sweet ever to feature white chocolate.

However, you won’t find this brand new creation in your average tin.

The Crème Caramel Crisp will only be available in participating John Lewis stores. But it might be worth the trip because in-store Quality Street pick and mix is returning – meaning you can build the tin of your dreams.

Shoppers can create their own bespoke collection of favourites from the 12 sweets in this year’s assortment. You can also personalise the collector’s tin if you want to.

Eco-conscious customers also have the option of refilling previous John Lewis Quality Street tins if they prefer.

Pick and mix costs £12, and it’s £15 if you want your tin personalised. Refills will cost you £10.

John Lewis Christmas Buyer Lisa Cherry says: ‘We cannot wait to welcome customers to 17 stores to create their personalised Quality Street tins, for some, this is now the start of their festive calendars.

‘Launching the first ever Quality Street sweet featuring white chocolate is so exciting and we can’t wait to hear what our customers think of this new and exclusive flavour.

‘It’s just one of the ways we are hoping to make more magical moments for our customers this Christmas.’

The pick and mix station at John Lewis’s flagship Oxford Street store opened on 21 September, with other participating stores following from the end of the month.
