For some autumn is here when the trees begin to change colour and crunchy leaves litter the streets. Others get in the seasonal spirit as the weather turns colder and nights grow darker. But for some, Starbucks bringing back the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte is the beginning of all things autumn.
Pumpkin spice lattes have become a seasonal staple over the years, and are only available for a few weeks each year.
The popular drink is a cosy combination of Starbucks espresso, pumpkin spice syrup and steamed milk.
Topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, the ultimate in autumnal spices.
The drink has already been brought back in the United States, but what about those of us craving the treat in the UK?

When is Starbucks releasing Pumpkin Spice Latte?
Initially, the delicious drink was available from October, however, Starbucks introduced them earlier last year – giving fans of pumpkin spice an extra month to enjoy them.
Based on last year, it could be September 5 the drinks are released, which would be this coming Saturday.
As yet Starbucks has made no official announcement to the PSL’s return, however, no doubt the drink will return to cafes soon.
Express.co.uk will update this page with more information when it is available.
The coffee chain usually makes Pumpkin Spice Lattes available from September until Christmas, and prices starting from £3.15.
Then the Christmas themed drinks are introduced, with flavours like gingerbread, toffee nut and eggnogg to add to coffees.
Hot chocolates also get the same treatment, with the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate going down a treat last year.

If you’re really craving that pumpkin spice taste at home though, there are a couple of options.
Simply typing ‘pumpkin spice coffee syrup’ into Amazon will bring up a range of options, so you can add a shot of syrup to your at-home coffee.
If you simply want the spices, you could mix together a selection of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove to sprinkle over your coffee.
One easy recipe for an at-home pumpkin spiced latte is below
First, pop two teaspoons of pumpkin purée into a large heatproof glass.
Add a pinch each of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
Stir in a 30ml espresso coffee shot.
Heat 250ml milk of your choice in a saucepan until steaming and frothing.
Pour the hot milk into the heatproof glass and top with froth.
Stir to combine then dust with more cinnamon before drinking.
For extra indulgence, top with whipped cream and then add the extra cinnamon.
You can easily increase the recipe if making more than one coffee.
