A food recall is put in place when a discovery is made that the product may be unsafe to the consumer and Tesco has listed its most recent recall on its website.
As a precaution, Unisnacks Europe is recalling one date code of Heji Hello Panda Cocoa Biscuits with Matcha Green Tea Cream Filling.
This is because they’ve detected traces of peanuts in the product which aren’t mentioned on the label.
The biscuits are sold at the likes of Tesco.
Customers who have brought these biscuits should look for the best before end date of May, 2021.
Tesco said: “If you have a peanut allergy, please don’t eat this product.
“Instead, please return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.”
Shoppers can find their local store using the online store locator.
If customers have any further concerns, they can contact Tesco Customer Services direct or Unisnacks Europe.
