Google Maps has become a treasure trove for absurdity and conspiracy theories since it was launched in 2005, with new features only making the experience wackier.
Finding and sharing anomalies on Google Street View has become something of a hobby for some users, with people able to unearth some truly special oddities over the years.
While some become viral social media sensations, others are harder to stumble across.
Daily Star Online has listed a meaty selection of our favourite sightings in 2019 to tide you over until the new year, including the wildest conspiracy theories and most outrageous acts of public indecency.
Naked man in French village of ‘Pussy’
This exhibitionist was clearly not caught by accident – abusing the contribution feature to upload a full-frontal naked photo of himself in the French town of Pussy.
Since the prankster was spotted in September, instructions on how to find the image went viral on social media.
Many commentators were stunned by the size of the bloke’s penis and questioned if the camera perspective made it look larger than it was in reality.
Google said the image had since been removed and highlighted that it had a strict policy for contributors.
Man on the moon ‘airbrushed’ out of Google Maps
A conspiracy theorist's claim that Google had deliberately airbrushed out the "Man on The Moon" had to make our list.
The believer claimed in September that the image taken from Google Moon had been tampered with and was not simply pixellated.
Others seemed to agree and one said "shadows" were invading through a "portal".
However, a more sceptical viewer said that it was too hard to verify whether a video is real or fake for them to believe it.

Couple romping on car bonnet
It’s hard to imagine what the driver of the Google Maps car was thinking when this intimate scene was caught on camera in October.
For reasons known only to themselves, a man and a woman are stark naked next to the road while locked in a steamy embrace.
The user who found the scene, on a rural mountainous road in China, reckoned the couple were about to have sex on the bonnet of their car.
They remarked: “Big Brother is watching.
“You’re making babies, and now we’re watching you.”
Google Earth mysteries
Man caught taking a dump
A middle-aged bloke caused a stir on Reddit in November when a sharp-eyed Google Maps user caught him squatting with his trousers around his ankles.
The clip was shared with the caption “Street View gem” and people weren’t quite sure what to make of the unsettling scene in Mexico.
“Everyone wants to be remembered,” quipped one user.
“Not like this!” replied another.
“Oh don’t mind me I’ll just s*** in public and not in a toilet,” a grossed-out viewer moaned.
Human shaped hole in the ground
A stunned Google Maps viewer found a human-shaped hole in the ground in Brazil in November.
The man-shaped lake is located in the municipality of Lacanga, São Paulo.
Nobody appeared to know for sure the meaning behind the eerie water feature, but some suggested it had a poignant mythical meaning.
A commentator said: “It was made to represent the place where Icarus fell to Earth.”
'Titanic-like' wreckage spotted
A conspiracy theorist claimed to have found the wreckage of the Titanic in, of all places, a harbour in Japan.
In the video, a TikTok user zooms in on a shadowy object appearing to be partially-submerged in Oshima Island.
"They lied about the Titanic," a caption overlayed on the video reads.
The clip was shared to Reddit in December, where it got an 82% upvote rate.
A Reddit user wrote: "I've checked on Google maps. It's there.”
