Stores will be open on Christmas Eve, which falls on a Saturday, but beware as the supermarket will be operating reduced hours, as people prepare for the celebrations.

They will reopen on December 27 – which is a bank holiday – and will be open 8am to 8pm until New Year's Eve.

The chain will be open on New Year's Eve but some stores may close earlier, so make sure you check and buy your essentials for the New Year festivities in plenty of time.
