Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had time to settle down in the US they need a few trusted friends around them.

Of course, between them they have hundreds of associates from all across the world but just who are the allies they call on when times are tough or they feel like hanging out?

Here's a look at the A Listers who are known to be on speed dial to the royal couple.

Oprah Winfrey

America's most famous woman has been a big part of Harry and Meghan's group of close confidantes for a while now.

The media mogul was a VIP guest at their May 2018 wedding and was the person they turned to when they were ready to give their first tell all interview.

Doria Ragland

Doria might be Meghan's mum but she's top of the list when it comes to the inner circle VIP status.

Mother and daughter are inseparable and Doria has been by Meghan's side since she met Prince Harry and long before of course.

Doria will likely be a regular visitor to Harry and Meghan's home, helping out with Archie and baby Lilibet.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

This super star couple splashed out on an incredible property in Santa Barbara last year which meant they became Harry and Meg's latest neighbours.

Harry has previously revealed that the couple's look out for each other, particularly when it comes to paparazzi.

Speaking on a podcast hosted by American TV star Daz Sheppard, Harry revealed: "Just two days ago Orlando Bloom sent me a message because he's down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi."

Serena Williams

Meghan and Serena have been known to enjoy a close friendship after first meeting in 2014.

Writing on her now closed lifestyle website The Tig, Meghan once said of the friendship: "We hit it off immediately, taking pictures, laughing and chatting—not about tennis or acting, but about good old-fashioned girly stuff. So began our friendship…

"She quickly became a confidante I would text when I was travelling, the friend I would rally around for her tennis matches, and the down-to-earth chick I was able to grab lunch with a couple of weeks ago in Toronto"

Meghan and Serena likely spent more time together than they're currently able to, when Serena was a neighbour during a brief stint in LA for Harry and Meghan.

Serena attended Harry and Meghan's wedding alongside her husband Alexis Ohanian at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Katharine McPhee and David Foster

Meghan grew up performing and singing with her friend and fellow actor Katharine Mcphee.

Singer Katharine who was a runner up on American Idol 2006 and her husband music producer David Foster, have been spotted having dinners with Harry and Meghan at Lucky's Steakhouse near their home in Montecito.

In fact, earlier this year Katharine revealed that Harry and David share a very close friendship and are like 'father and son'.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, she said: "My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They're like, they're so cute. They're like father and son."

Amal Clooney

Human rights lawyer Amal and her Hollywood husband George Clooney were guests at Harry and Meghan's wedding and have been linked to the royal couple ever since.

It's thought that the two couple's could have been brought together by Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank who is an ambassador for a tequila brand linked to George.

George, Amal, Harry and Meghan have been known to go out on double dinner dates but haven't been spotted together recently as they're in different countries.

Amal and George are thought to have been living in Berkshire but rumour has it they're currently spending a fortune on renovating and old pad of George's back in the states, so could soon be back on the same side of the pond as their royal pals.

James Corden

Everyone's favourite cheeky Brit is thought to have been friends with Harry for years. He attended the couple's lavish royal wedding and is known to have been in the inner circle for the exclusive evening ceremony, too.

Harry starred in James' show early in 2021 and The Duke opened up about life as a member of the royal family to his old friend.

James lives in LA with his family and will no doubt be inviting the Sussex's over when they're able to travel around more.

Abigail Spencer

Abigail was one of Meghan's close co-stars in the hit show Suits.

They had been friends for a while before becoming co workers, with Abigail once telling a reporter: "I saw her and was like, 'Who is this gorgeous girl?' She was just so stunning and there was just something about her, and that's how we met."

The friends are thought to be very close, with Abigail throwing Meghan's famous New York baby shower and even having been spotted hiking in Vancouver with the couple when the spent a 6 week stint there in 2019.

Priyanka Chopra

Though there was once rumours of a rift in this pair's friendship it seems the two are still on very good terms.

They've known each other for years but rumours surfaced of a bust up when Meghan didn't attend Priyanka's wedding to Nick Jonas in 2018 but Meghan was pregnant with baby Archie.

Any talk of a fall out was put to bed when Priyanka and her husband visited Harry and Meghan at Frogmore Cottage bearing gifts from Tiffany & Co, following the birth of Archie.

Harry and Meghan will be busier than ever now that they're parents of two, but their trusted circle of friends are on hand to support them and hopefully help keep them smiling.
