Three men have died after a stabbing in north-east London, police have said.
The Metropolitan Police said the trio, believed to be aged in their 20s or 30s, were knifed in Seven Kings, Ilford, on Sunday.
The emergency services were called at around 7.38pm and the three men were pronounced dead at the scene
Chief Superintendent Steve Clayman, Commander of the Met’s East Area BCU said: “While enquiries into this tragic incident are at an early stage, this is likely to be a triple homicide investigation.
“I must retain an open mind as to any motive as we are in the early stages of establishing the full circumstances.”
Crime scenes are in place in the area as officers begin a full forensic examination, although no arrests have been made.
Police have warned of traffic disruption in the area as there is a crime scene in place.
Post-mortem examinations are due to take place.
