A woman who filmed a toddler grabbing her arm while on a flight has divided opinion with how she reacted.
Kara Saba shared the throwback clip on TikTok to show how she coped with the energetic passenger sitting behind her during her two-hour flight from Detroit to Charleston in the US.
In the clip viewed more than 13 million times, she is seen sitting by the window next to her partner.
All of a sudden, a small hand emerges from the gap between the window and the seat and reaches Kara's left arm.
Catching the act on camera, the plane passenger can't stop giggling as the girl grabs her arm and gently hits her.
The little hand continues to pat her arm, even stroking it, as the tot tries to work out what it's touching.
Kara tagged Delta Airlines in the post and wrote: "Her name was Adeline and I hope her mum sees this."
The clip has been shared by popular Instagram account PassengerShaming, who shared the hilarious clip in an effort to lighten the mood of viewers among the coronavirus pandemic.
The post read: "This (pre-Covid throwback) is too cute and funny not to share! Just a little wholesome fun by a toddler."
Most viewers loved how Kara reacted, with one saying: "Thank you for not freaking out over a cute little one discovering their surroundings!"
"Her skin is probably extremely soft!" another wrote. "Nice to see some folks not rude to an innocent kid on a plane."
But others questioned whether Kara should have informed the parents.
One asked if her response showed the child that it is okay to "continue touching random strangers in public".
Another said: "No thank you….let the parents know."
"How is this funny or cute?" a third asked. "And the comments that if you don't like some strangers' kid touching you that indicates you hate children are ridiculous."
