James Bond fans can stay in Ian Fleming's former Jamaica home

At the end of this month, No Time to Die – the newest instalment of the James Bond franchise – will be hitting cinemas.

With a theme song sung by Billie Eilish, Rami Malek in the villain role, and Lashana Lynch as the first woman ’00’ agent, it’s set to be as star-studded and hyped as ever.

Aside from watching the film, this hype is often expressed in terms of spy-grade gadgets for sale, and an uptick in snappy dressing a la Daniel Craig.

But there’s also another way to feel exactly like Bond – and enjoy a tropical holiday to boot.

You can now book a stay at the GoldenEye hotel in Jamaica, otherwise known as the former home of James Bond author Ian Fleming – and where the writer famously dreamt up the iconic 007 character.

Available to book through personal travel management company Winged Boots, the Fleming villa acts as its own private island hidden amongst the trees with unrivalled views that will be sure to leave you shaken, not stirred.

Designed with creative inspiration in mind, Fleming chose to build the property with no windows, and instead used traditional Jamaican shutters to feel the ocean breeze as he wrote all 14 of the 007 novels.

Sleeping up to 10 guests and oozing opulence that even Miss Moneypenny would appreciate, each of the three bedrooms in the villa come with a freestanding bath to allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of the island as you relax.

If you fancy spying the local nightlife, there are a number of activities, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as a team of staff to make your stay memorable – and yes, there’ll even be a butler available to offer you an olive-laden martini.

10 nights at the Goldeneye hotel in Oracabessa Bay, Jamaica, including flights starts at £3,125 per person, perfect for a luxury break for Fleming fans.

Jamaica is currently on the amber list in the UK, so if you do decide to book the Goldeneye, you should check up-to-date information before you enter or leave the country.
